Confidently Introduce Yourself In A Job Interview Using These 5 Strong Words

You know they will ask you to tell them about yourself.
Your very detailed cover letter and the phrases that you used to describe your skills and professional experience in your CV have finally impressed the employer of the job you applied for.
And they have called to invite you for an interview.

However, you have a list of power adjectives you would use to describe yourself? I have sample out some great words you can use to introduce yourself.

1. Communicative
Communication is a skill that is highly valued by most employers in Kenya today.
Use this word to show them that you’re a people person who can be trusted with information, you care about connecting with your clients and colleagues at work, and you are intelligent enough to do so clearly and professionally.
Make sure you support this with several strong examples and scenarios.
2. Reliable
Employers are looking for people they can trust with their company tasks. So, you want to show them that you don’t just show up for you, but you have the team’s interests in mind.
You also want to make them feel that you always work to ensure that you are not letting anybody down. You’re not late for work, or for meetings. You can be relied upon to do your job, do it well, and deliver whatever needs to be done.
3. Flexible
Although it may sound over used, this one carries a lot of weight.  You don’t want to appear like that person who is afraid of change and is rigid. Of course you’re out to shine. And shining is what you will do to secure this interview.
So, show the employer that you’re the kind of employee everybody wants because you’re willing to do things outside your job description provided it makes sense for the company and for the goals of your team.
4. Passionate
It’s one thing to do your job and it’s another to do it passionately.
There are so many people who can do the kind of job that you are doing but what makes the difference is the interest and passion in that particular task.
People who are passionate and interested can benefit a company in unexpected, positive ways. And employees know this. Using this word while describing yourself or your professional skills shows that you aren’t a clock-watcher and that you’re highly engaged with your work.
5. Finally, we have Driven
If driven sounds too used for you then “ambitious” will be the best alternative here.
Any adjective that will show you are not just showing up to work in the morning for the end month salary or the free office tea will work here.
These words prove that you are in it to win it in order to advance your career and, in the meantime, to advance the company and its most important goals.  It means you are a “self-motivated person.”
