Human Resources Assistant Job MEDS

  • The position will report to the Human Resources and Administration Manager and will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources function.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
  • Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
  • Assist with the recruitment process
  • Assist with performance management procedures.
  • Assist in coordinating training sessions and seminars.
  • Assist in performing orientations and updating records of new staff.

Job requirements:

  • Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a busy Human Resources Office
  • Membership with the Institute of Human Resources Management (IHRM) is an added advantage
  • Ability to work with Human Resources and Information Systems Software; and various IT systems
  • Functional skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective HR administration and people management skills; organizational and time management skills; problem-solving skills
  • Behavioural competencies high level of integrity, confidentiality, amiable, self-driven, and interpersonal communication skills; works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines; attention to detail.
